David Beckham has expressed delight at the duel deal signed to share him between AC Milan and his home club, LA Galaxy. Beckham stated: “I’m really grateful to the LA Galaxy and AC Milan for making this dream deal happen.”

The deal means that AC Milan will get to keep Beckham until the end of the season, rather than him coming home to LA during the middle of this month. According to reports, Beckham took a pay cut to ensure the deal went through.

Beckham is hoping to catch the eye of England selectors while playing in Europe.
